Chatting with Kurt DeChristopher from Coastal Key

Kurt DeChristopher, the new home sales associate at Coastal Key, sat down with us to discuss the Ft. Myers, FL new home community and talk about what makes it so special.

We had a great chat and wanted to share what we learned with our readers, particularly those in the market for a new lake view Ft. Myers home.

We started off by asking Kurt what his favorite thing was about working for Neal Communities.

He told us that he loved working for a local Florida home builder that wasn’t a nationwide chain. He explained that working for a local builder makes it easier to provide better service to his clients.

“I like that we are family owned and that we are not a national builder. It allows us to pay more personal attention to homeowners instead of treating them like a number.”

Kurt went on to say that it’s easy to sell new homes when you’re 100% confident in the quality of the builder.

When asked about the key attributes that make Coastal Key such an attractive option, Kurt couldn’t say enough about the location. It’s close to downtown Ft. Myers and only 10-15 minutes to the beaches of Sanibel and Captiva Islands.

He also commented on the general ambiance of the community.

“The coastal theme is really nice. The designers did a great job on the homes as well as the community. The streets and landscaping are beautiful. To say Coastal Key is scenic is an understatement and the cul-de-sac layout adds extra serenity.”

Kurt also noted that many buyers are attracted to the Ft. Myers real estate market for the wetlands. Additionally, many homesites at Coastal Key offers a water view and this is a big plus for a lot of his clients.

When asked for the #1 reason why someone would want to purchase a new Florida home at Coastal Key he got straight to the point, “Where you live matters.”
