Record Breaking Month for Eagle Trace Associate

Tuesday, February 13, 2018  |  Neal Team

Every customer that walks through the Eagle Trace sales office is there for a reason, and new home sales associate Ryan Zimmerman wants them to have all of the information necessary to make a sound decision.

For Ryan, that means having a solid sales plan in place. Whether it’s touring customers through the community’s model homes, explaining the different floor plans or developing a personal rapport, Ryan is focused on building a relationship with each of his customers.

That attention to detail was evident last month when Ryan posted his best month of sales since joining the Neal team nearly four years ago.

By the end of January, 14 homes had been sold in Eagle Trace — nine of which were credited to Ryan.

“January was our best month ever,” says Ryan.

As the year began, Ryan noticed the number of visitors to Eagle Trace was higher than it had been previously. Recognizing that volume was probably higher in other communities as well, Ryan wanted every homebuyer to get the quality attention he or she deserved.

Ryan sat down with fellow Eagle Trace new home sales associate Gary Brown, and together, the two came up with a plan for every homebuyer to receive their undivided attention.

“We didn’t want anyone to feel alone or without the tools needed to make a good decision,” says Ryan. “I think that approach really makes the difference in the success that we had.”

Now, Ryan is looking to build off last month’s success as Eagle Trace nears completion with only six new home sites, five move-in ready homes and four model homes left. With its lush landscaping, abundance of amenities and proximity to Lakewood Ranch, Eagle Trace is an ideal neighborhood for many reasons.

“It’s a community that feels like a close-knit neighborhood,” says Ryan. “It was created with the idea that within 30 seconds of driving into the community you can tell it’s a Neal neighborhood.”

A native of Bradenton, Ryan learned the value of sales at an early age. His mother, JoAnne Zimmerman, is a Realtor for Keller Williams and his grandfather, Pete Zimmerman, was an entrepreneur and source of inspiration for Ryan.

“It never seemed like they were just working a job,” says Ryan. “They enjoyed their lives, and it was inspiring to see them love what they do so much and the reward that came with it.”

Growing up, Ryan watched Neal Communities break ground on some of its first Bradenton communities. He grew up down the street from Pat Neal, and it wasn’t long before Ryan saw family and friends move into homes by Neal Communities.

Ryan knew early on that he wanted to get into real estate and his mother made it a point to encourage him to join a reliable new homebuilder. Neal Communities was at the top of his list; and in 2015, Ryan joined the team. After helping out at Central Park during its grand closeout, he transitioned over to Eagle Trace where he has been for almost three years.

“It was amazing and super exciting,” says Ryan. “I love the fact that we are locally owned. Growing up where Neal Communities started and being able to sell a product for a company that has really built a lot of the communities in our area, it means a lot and is something I’m very proud of.”
